Sunny Beach
The largest seaside resort on the Bulgarian Riviera located a couple of miles ,
north-west of Town of Nessebar . On the beach or in the quiet greenery of the specious
park land, with a cottage settlements in orchards and vineyards, and a shady campsites
you will find a place that suites style and budget.
For the period May to September. conditions for water sports are excellent indeed.
Hundreds of restaurants, taverns and entertainment places are open till early in
the morning to satisfy any taste and preferences.
Elenite
Recently opened (Summer 2006) this Water Park is situated approximately 300 meters
from Privilege Fort Beach, adjacent to the Royal Park Hotel.
Situated outside the main gate of Privilege Fort Beach. The bar, originally built
to cater for the builders working on the construction of the local Fortnoks complexes,
now attracts tourists from Elenite and surroundings areas. What attracts tourists
is the cheap prices and great atmosphere.
St. Vlas
Sveti Vlas is a beautiful coastal village of approx. 3000 inhabitants, situated
just 4 kilometres south of Elenite and 9 kilometres from Nessebar. This magnificent
resort is a great combination of beautiful seaside at the foot of the Balkan mountain
range. It has been developed into a modern beach destination during the recent years,
with a brand new tourist infrastructure. This makes it a preferred destination for
holidaymakers, who want to enjoy the spectacular views of the mountain while having
fun on the beach.
The natural conditions- mountain, forest, sea and southern exposure
of the mountain slopes, are extremely healthy and appropriate for a full relaxation.
The three beaches at st Vlas have a total length of 1, 5 kilometres- the central
beach is the longest one, south of it is the small “Camping” beach and the third
one is the beach nearby the new yacht port Marina.
The town is also famous for its
brand new and beautiful yacht port, which is being developed close to the water
base of the local fishermen. Sveti Vlas is a sprawling local village whose spruced-up
environs attest to lucrative spill-over business from Sunny Beach.
Nessebar
Situated on a rocky peninsula on the Black Sea, the more than 2,500-year-old site
of Nessebar was originally a Thracian settlement (Mesembria). At the beginning of
the 6th century B.C., the city became a Greek colony. The city's remains, which
date mostly from the Hellenistic period, include the acropolis, a temple of Apollo,
an agora and a wall from the Thracian fortifications.
Among other monuments, the
Stara Mitropolia Basilica and the fortress date from the Middle Ages, when this
was one of the most important Byzantine towns on the west coast of the Black Sea.
Wooden houses built in the 19th century are typical of the Black Sea architecture
of the period.
The old quarter is under a preservation order as a living museum
town, housing the remains of 40 churches from different periods of history along
